Sara Cluderay - Soprano
soloist (UK)
Sara is the founder of Song and Dance for your Wedding. She studied classical singing at Trinity College of Music, London. She has performed across a broad spectrum of musical genres. Opera includes La Traviata with Dartington Festival Opera, Tales of Hoffmann at Buxton Opera House and Jacksons Lane Theatre, and the world premiere of Uncle Remus for Pegasus Opera at Hackney Empire. Concert work has included recitals at Corsham Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Barbican and the National Portrait Gallery. Sara has worked as a session singer with bands including Travis, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Clint Boon Experience, touring major UK rock venues and festivals. She has broadcast for BBC Radio One and Channel 4 television. Sara is a chorister at the West London Synagogue and has sung as a soloist with the synagogue choir at Westminster Abbey and Friends House London. Other choral work has included Chelsea Old Church and the Chapel at Gray's Inn, London. Sara also sings with the choir of St. Andrew's Fulham Fields, most recently at St. Thomas 5th Avenue, Holy Trinity Wall Street and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. She regularly performs with The Ismena Trio: a cello, piano and soprano ensemble. Appearances for 2010 include a touring musical theatre cabaret show with The Ismena Trio. Sara Cluderay was featured singing Ave Maria on Wedding TV's series Help! I Need A Wedding Entertainer. (Watch video here.)

Silva McQueen - Soprano soloist (London & South East)

Silva McQueen studied singing at the Belgrade Music Academy, with Aleksandra Ivanovic. She joined the Radio and Television of Serbia Choir in Belgrade, with whom she was a frequent soloist. She completed a year's course for opera singers at the National Theatre in Belgrade, including a staged performance of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. Silva was awarded a full scholarship to Trinity College of Music, London, where she completed her postgraduate studies with Distinction, studying with Wendy Eathorne. Silva was subsequently offered a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music. Whilst at Trinity, Silva sang Berlioz' Les Nuits d'Été and worked with Jorma Paula as the soloist in Sibelius' Kullervo Symphony.
She has toured throughout Europe with Die Münchener Operabühne, and she was also a regular soloist with the Victorian and Edwardian group The Bold Balladeers, with whom she performed extensively in Scotland, Yorkshire and London.
More recent engagements have included solo soprano in Mozart's Requiem Mass, Coronation Mass and Haydn's Pauken Messe, and solo recitals at the Serbian Embassy, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and St. James', Piccadilly.
